George Powell started Powell Skateboards in 1978, pioneering construction techniques that influenced modern board manufacturing. Their collaboration with Stacy Peralta during the Bones Brigade era produced some of skateboarding's most iconic video parts and board graphics. Current iterations maintain the innovation focus while adapting to contemporary skating demands.
