Ace Trucks & Hardware

Joey Tershay and Steve "Shrewgy" Ruge founded Ace Trucks in 2007 with a vision of combining classic skateboard truck designs with modern manufacturing technology, later adding Joey Pulsifer as a third partner in 2017 to contribute innovative concepts for improved strength and functionality. Their approach prioritizes performance over flashy marketing campaigns, developing trucks through close collaboration with riders who demand equipment capable of withstanding heavy abuse while maintaining precise control. Ace gained credibility through word-of-mouth from skaters who chose their trucks based on actual performance rather than sponsorship deals or celebrity endorsements, creating a reputation that spread through skateboarding's underground networks. Their commitment to traditional manufacturing techniques results in trucks that maintain their characteristics through extended use, appealing to riders who view equipment as long-term investments rather than disposable accessories. Sometimes the best products are the ones that let their performance do the talking.
