Alien Workshop
Alien Workshop Skateboards & Apparel
Alien Workshop emerged from the creative minds of Chris Carter, Mike Hill, and Neil Blender in 1990, quickly establishing itself as skateboarding's esoteric outsider. Born in Dayton, Ohio, far from coastal skateboarding epicenters, the Workshop cultivated a distinctly midwestern approach to skateboarding's visual language.
The brand gained legendary status through groundbreaking videos like Memory Screen (1991) and Photosynthesis (2000), which paired experimental filmmaking with a roster of influential skaters including Josh Kalis, Anthony Van Engelen, and Heath Kirchart. The Workshop's cryptic imagery, often featuring conspiracy theories, alien abduction narratives, and industrial aesthetics, created skateboarding's most recognizable alternative universe.
