Hemley Skateboarding was founded in 2006 by Felix Hemley. Shortly after Jimmy Pemberton joined the business to form a solid partnership that has lasted over 20 years. Both lifelong skaters from Fitzroy who were inspired by their local skate culture.
Originally based on Queens Parade in Clifton Hill, the store was dedicated to serving the local skate community with skateboards and related gear.
In 2007, recognising opportunities for expansion, Felix and Jimmy moved the shop to Brunswick St, Fitzroy, where Hemley Skateboarding continues to thrive today.
